X Over Ride 2016
Date of this year’s X Over Ride: 18.3.-20.3.2016
The X Over Ride is now a three-star event and as part of the Freeride World Qualifier series, it’s hard to imagine the calendar of the freeride elite without it. Already in its 13th year, the event takes place on the Kitzsteinhorn. It is not only important points and prize money that spur the riders on, but also a good portion of prestige that is up for grabs in the freeride mecca of the Salzburger Land on the Lakarscheid face of the Kitzsteinhorn.
What’s in it for the X Over ride spectators?
From 08:30 you can go up with the Gletscher Bahnen Kaprun. Directly at the top station of the Glacier Jet 1, you can see into the terrain. On the deckchairs of the Häuslalm you can watch the hot rides of the riders with hopefully bright sunshine and a cool drink.
TIP of the House of Catherine: Do not forget binoculars!
